Fulham agrees to borrow Israeli wing Solomon from Shakhtar

Fulham have completed the loan of Israeli winger Manor Solomon from Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donetsk.

If all goes well, Solomon will undergo a medical with Fulham ahead of his 2022-23 loan deal and will make the 22-year-old winger Marco Silva’s second addition to the squad. This summer’s transfer window follows Portuguese midfielder Joao Palgnana, who moved from Sporting Lisbon for around £20 million.

Solomon moved from Maccabi Petah Tikva to Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2019 for just €6 million. Became the star of the team that so far has play ufabet 109 games, scoring 23 goals in all competitions.

Temporary changes to employment rulings were introduce in March following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. And they were extend for a further year with the June 30 deadline for agreements added.

But Solomon – who has scored 22 goals in 103 games for Shakhtar – will join up with Fulham ahead of the 2022-23 Premier League season.

His current deal with the Ukrainian side runs out in December 2023.
